Welcome, autumn: these are the basics for your outfits for the new season

Although I am still enjoying the good weather, the truth is that I always have an eye on my wardrobe to think about have everything ready for the next season.

Like this I can calmly check my clothes and get ready the way I like it, knowing a little in advance what are the basic pieces going to be, those that I want to have yes or yes because they are the ones that are going to carry the instagrammers with more style.

And I want to be there first!

Take note of these 5 key pieces for your autumn wardrobe

Surely you will have to buy something if you want to be up to date, but others you can rescue from the bottom of the closet and update them with some details.

That's why I really like to get ahead of myself. Thus, as soon as the thermometer drops a little, I am one of the first to go outside with the cool autumn ready.

Do you want to do the same as me? Take note:

1. Platformers: the 70s are back

Or the 90s, if you want, because in that decade they were also very fashionable. In fashion all trends are back and forth, and it took time to see those shoes with very thick soles in all their variants on the street.

Conclusion flat platforms or platforms, and they allow you to go several centimeters higher (as far as you want to go, because they can be sooooo high).

I personally love them because they allow me wear heels without the discomfort of a stilettos. The platform helps the foot maintain its natural posture and, if you don't abuse the slope, you can last all day without slowing down.

And the best thing is that you can find almost any type of platform shoe, there are no limits! From the fanciest dress shoe to a sneakers Sports, going through boots, sandals, open shoes... everything can be worn with a few extra centimeters.

Here the important thing is spontaneity and comfort (you know that the trend is still the natural look), and few things are more artificial than walking in fear because heels bother you.

2. Shirts with a babydoll collar

Another of the trends of the year that continues and that we will see again when temperatures begin to drop: wide collars on shirts and dresses.

You will hear them called in different ways: baby neck, goofy neck or bib, Peter Pan and other names. They bring a childish air, something naive, and for me they have clear romantic inspiration.

Although there are many shapes of baby necks, they generally have two oversized flaps, which are usually adorned with embroidery or bows, or finished off with lace.

For them to really be babydoll necks, they have to be XL and occupy, if not the entire shoulders, at least more than half. AND let them draw attention because that's what it's about.

If you wear it in a piece with large puffed sleeves, you complete the effect.

3. Knitted vests to keep you warm… just enough

You always have to have them in the closet. Sometimes they stay behind for a few seasons, but this is a garment that we know always comes back. You just have to wait a bit to get it out on the street again.

And also, this year, it returns with force, in all its versions.

This fall we will see on the street classic fit slim fit vests, like those that were part of the traditional three-piece suit, although modernized to fit the XNUMXst century.

You can wear it with tailored pants if you need a cool a little formal to go to the office, for example.

But also with slightly more fun skirts. keep taking the preppy look, but you can add more informal touches that personalize the style.

Another option is knitted vests, both plain and with their classic rhombuses. In any version it still maintains certain air of college British that works so well.

4. Leather garments (or leather effect)

They don't have to be animal leather, just look like it. Many of us are already betting on the vegan leather, much more sustainable and respectful.

But the important thing: one or two garments of this type They are going to be a must have in your fall wardrobe. Whether it's pants, a skirt, a jacket... or a total look skin effect.

If I had to choose a winning fabric, it would be this one, without a doubt. So much for outfit newspapers to go out. The key is going to be in the accessories.

5. Tailoring: back to work

In the last year and a half we have dressed very little to work. Teleworking has changed our rhythms and formal and casual looks, but little by little we return to the office and that is why slightly more formal clothing reappears on the streets.

I say a bit because the suit jacket is no longer the typical boring garment that you have in the closet only for serious meetings, but that allows you to attend any type of event, even make a afterwork that lengthens!

Having a tailor-made suit is an increasingly affordable luxury, but in stores you will find many interesting variations, either with trousers or a skirt.

The trend is play with shapes, colors and patterns, and look for the combination that most appeals to you: pleated trousers, fitted jackets, midi skirts...

And a trick to get all eyes on you: leave the shirt on the hanger, button the jacket to the maximum and complete your outfit with a statement necklace or pendant give a touch of color. For example, the Siara Turquoise. You will be the center of attention!

Do you also do the same as me, go through your closet and prepare it for always have the trend garments of the season? Tell me how you organize yourself, because surely you have tricks that I would love to know.
