5 heist movies that will make you turn to the dark side

I'm already rubbing my hands just thinking that there's less left for him premiere of the fifth season of La Casa de Papel. Is there anything more entertaining than robbery movies and series?

I don't know about you, but I got very attached to the Professor, Tokyo, Denver, Berlin, Nairobi, Rio… and all those that came after.

and in a few weeks We have new chapters! Note: early September, the first installment. And later another: in December.

To whet your appetite, today I am going to tell you some of the robbery movies that I liked the most. Those that, from time to time, I repeat because they never expire. They are always a good choice stand in front of the TV with a bowl of popcorn.

Shall I tell you what they are?

Set 5 heist movies favourites: robberies and movie robberies

There are many and very good ones, so I take it for granted that I'm going to leave some wonder in the inkwell That surely should be on this list.

But as I want to summarize I am going to tell you 5 heist movies they like for different reasons. With robbery and robbery plots, with intelligent and highly skilled thieves, with jewels, paintings, safes and lots of action.

And if you like the combination of cinema and jewelry, read here what are the most necklaces cool of the history of cinema.

And now, let's talk about heists:

1. Ocean's 8 (2018)

It is the last film of the saga, with the peculiarity that it is carried out by women… thieves!

A golden opportunity to see divas like Cate Blanchet, Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Rihana... and more. Swindlers and thieves, each with her own specialty, who organize themselves to steal a diamond necklace (no less than Cartier) valued at one hundred million dollars.

The first movie was a hoot. Ocean's Eleven (2001) is unforgettable for the combination of George Clooney, Matt Damon and Brad Pitt, a cast of luxury thieves who, in addition to giving the blow, got into the pocket of the audience.

Then they came Ocean's Twelve (2004) and Ocean's Thirteen (2007), which kept the level (although the first one is a unique gem)

And finally, this spin off feminine which has lived up to the previous films.

2. The Thomas Crown Secret (1999)

In this case I am going to talk about the version starring Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo, which is the most recent in memory.

Although it would be fair to name you too the original version, from 1968, with Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway, which was titled The Thomas Crown case. The arguments of both are a little different, but the basis is the same in both: a robbery.

In the old version, it's about robbing a bank. In modern, a millionaire Monet.

But the key to both films is the main character, Thomas Crown. An attractive, intelligent, trickster and elusive millionaire. And a female character, that of the independent investigator who follow your intuition and try to hunt it down. Wonderful, both Russo and Dunaway.

3.The Italian Job (2003)

Another movie with a double version. This one from 2003, with Mark Wahlberg, Edward Norton, Charlize Theron, Donald Sutherland and a few more familiar faces, is el remake from the film of the same title starring Michael Caine in 1969, a police classic.

The truth is that they are two quite different movies, with a common ingredient: the unforgettable and fast-paced chases in Mini through the streets of Italy.

In both the core is a robbery (of course) but the developments are different. The old version has an unmistakable British touch (you know Benny Hill, the comedian?), with Caine as a hardened thief and fresh out of jail.

While the most modern one has as its protagonist a young American robber who wants to avenge the death of his mentor by organizing a robbery. Guaranteed entertainment.

4. The Trap (1999)

Perhaps you can tell me that it is not the best robbery movie, but it is that the combination of Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta-Jones I'm worth to put it in this t staff.

That duel on the screen between two greats, the confrontation of two out of series, I was hooked as soon as I saw the movie for the first time.

In this case they plan a robbery together, but neither ends up trusting the other, so both they are tested throughout the film.

And, like all has a mythical scene: when she trains to cross a room avoiding laser beams.

5. Bonnie & Clyde (1967)

I leave the classic of the classics for last. The quintessential heist movie, doomed to an (inevitable) dramatic end.

The story is real, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were a couple of American robbers with a lot of robberies behind them. His run across the country was violent and very bloody, however they exerted a certain fascination on the public that practically elevated them to the category of myth.

On screen, it was Warren Beatty and Faye Dunnaway. The final scene, although I've seen it a lot of times, still gives me goosebumps.

well these are mine Favorite robbery and robbery movies. Can you tell me which ones you liked?
