Let me introduce myself. My name is Maria, the restless mind behind all the designs of Adamina. It's been a while since I've been thinking about creating this blog. I felt the need to connect with you, with all of you, and to share trends, recommendations, tips and, why not, my day to day. Today, I finally decided to jump in the pool, so it's official!
Before continuing writing, I will tell you how Adamina started
I started creating my own designs in 2014, after finishing my Geological Engineering degree at UPM. What do you want me to tell you? As I batted an eyelash at the notes, I fell deeply in love with the versatility and potential of minerals..
When the light bulb went on and I gave free rein to my dreams, I couldn't stop. I began to develop sketches and bring Adamina's jewelry to life. From then until today, I have continued to work every day to get here.
It is not about creating any jewel, it is about creating THE JEWEL, designed for women who are true to themselves, independent and with their own voice. This is how Adamina came about, with the firm purpose of a determined woman, a handful of illusions and a great desire to break glass ceilings.
With my designs, whether pending earrings, piercings, earcuffs, rings, necklaces or bracelets, I want to give another form of expression, so that each one contributes that very personal touch creating your own mix & match.
There are always pieces that mark us, and to say goodbye to them I thought that creating a section Outlet in Adamina I could say goodbye to them in a more special way, and so I did.
I cannot close this paragraph about the beginnings of Adamina, which is so difficult for me to summarize, without mentioning the wonderful team that I have by my side day after day, because without them I would not be writing these lines.
Adamina's blog, a corner where you can feel identified and find inspiration
In essence, I would like this blog to be a form of expression where we can share endless current content or experiences. I will talk about topics as varied as "Plans for a New York day in Madrid" (which I am already cooking) or "Curiosities about jewels that you did not know". Therefore, Adamina's blog has different sections, so that you can choose the theme that you like the most when you feel like it. Next, I'm going to do a few spoilers about what you will find:
